The same source states that at least 21 million new housing units are required each year in developed countries to accommodate household growth. It goes on to indicate that there are at least 100 million homeless people globally. Even in developed countries like the United States, it’s well known that some victims of Hurricane Katrina still remain homeless. Going by these statistics, the development of affordable housing units is an activity that will remain viable and profitable for as long as humanity continues to exist.
