Plastic recycling is an important enterprise in this age of environmental conservation and global warming. Supermarkets and industries continue to churn out tons of plastic wrapped products on a daily basis, most of which end up in the garbage dump. How many plastic products are in your trash can? If you want to test this fact, bury an orange peel and a plastic bag in your back yard and leave them undisturbed for six months. Upon digging up your ‘victims,’ you will find your plastic bag intact while your orange peel will be in some advanced stage of decomposition and well on its way back to the earth. Plastics destroy the environment and one way of dealing with this issue is to reuse them as much as possible in their original form and eventually by recycling them.
