Thermoforming is an important industrial process which results in the production of a wide variety of disposable containers and products such as packages for vegetables, fruits, cups for ice-cream, fishery cooling products, boxes for preserved fruits, pickles, candies, cakes, chocolates, snacks, fast food, all kinds of cans, food dishes, trays, bowls, lids, toys, small hardware, clothes and all kinds of commodities. Thermoforming involves heating plastic sheets to such a high temperature that they become pliable. Once the plastic sheets attain a certain level of pliability, they are set in a mold and adjusted to the required shape.
